AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere, AB seeks a Physiotherapy Aide to support rehabilitation services for residents. You will assist Physical and Occupational Therapists, monitor participation in therapy, and help maintain equipment and supplies in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include inventory, equipment maintenance, infection control, data entry, and clerical support. Fluency in English and a Rehabilitation Therapist Diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Rehabilitation Therapist Diploma.
• Post-secondary education is an asset.
• Fluent English, both oral and written.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse population.

Responsabilités

• Provides assistance for Healthcare Professionals (PT/OT).
• Monitors resident ability to participate in therapy intervention.
• Prepares and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and assists with maintenance programs as directed by the Therapist.
• Provides repairs or modifications to resident equipment as needed.
• Maintains infection control practices of treatment area and equipment.
• Provides and distributes equipment as needed.
• Collects records and manages data in computer program.
