University of Ottawa in Ottawa is seeking Teaching Assistants/Demonstrators for Principals of Physics II (PHY1322). The role covers preparation, student contact, grading, proctoring, and other duties across a 2027 spring/summer session, with four positions available.

The work spans January to August 2027 with defined hourly rates for undergraduate and graduate TAs. Hours and tasks are negotiated with the supervising professor.

Formación

• Completion of 3 years of University level Physics or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate physics concepts clearly.
• Ability to work with students in a teaching lab environment.

Responsabilidades

• Préparation / Preparation: 24 hours per course; develop course materials.
• Contact with students: up to 28 hours.
• Correction - Notation: up to 68 hours.
• Proctoring: up to 4 hours.
• Other duties: up to 6 hours.
