Zusammenfassung

The University of Ottawa is seeking teaching assistants for Thermodynamics II (MCG2131) to support the course supervisor with weekly labs, equipment setup, student consultations, marking, and proctoring. In-person delivery will be required for the duration of the term.

Candidates should have completed undergraduate mechanical courses, strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, and be available throughout the course session to assist and proctor the final exam.

Qualifikationen

• Have successfully completed undergrad mechanical courses.
• Exceptional knowledge of Free Body Diagrams and engineering mechanics.
• Good knowledge of common engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work with basic hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability in person throughout the course session.
• Availability to proctor the final exam.

Aufgaben

• Providing teaching assistance to the course supervisor, conducting the weekly dissection labs, setting up the equipment, students consultation, marking and proctoring.
• Allocation of hours and other duties will be specified by the supervisor.
