Job summary

24/7 OEMS is seeking a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (current and in good standing) to support occupational health clinics in Ontario. The role involves on-site emergency and occupational health services within a multi-site environment.

The position offers above-industry compensation, fully covered flights to and from site, on-site accommodations, 24/7 access to on-call doctors, and a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days. Two weeks on, two weeks off with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Canadian PA certification required and in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS required; ATLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site emergency, primary and occupational health services.
• Assist with occupational injury and illness case management.
• Review pre-employment medical examinations.
• Provide occupational health surveillance services (audiometric, spirometry, and respiratory fit testing).
• Provide drug and alcohol testing services.

Job description

24/7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions (24/7 OEMS) is currently accepting applications for a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (current and in good standing) for occupational health clinics in Ontario.

Above industry standard compensation, fully covered flights to and from site, on site accommodations, 24/7 access to on-call doctors for support, multiple project locations, and a COR Certified safety program are just some reasons to join the 24/7 OEMS team.

TheCanadian Certified Physician Assistantwill be expected to practice within the medical directives and formulary as approved by the 24/7 OEMS Medical Director. The PA will work as part of the on-site clinical team and have access to our 24/7 on-call emergency medicine consultants. Prior experience in occupational medicine and or the provision of advanced care in a remote setting would be an asset.

The PA will be expected to:

• Provide on-site emergency / primary and occupational health services
• Assist with occupational injury / illness case management.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly rate is equivalent to $800 - $884 per 12-hour day
• Supplemental overtime and call-back rates
