Job Description

This is a temporary position for up to twelve (12) months

Sinai Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to support our Ambulatory Gynaecology team within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The Physician Assistant will be an integral part of a busy practice within a tertiary referral centre in downtown Toronto, working with three staff gynaecologists and two clinician fellows. Responsibilities include outpatient/inpatient clinical visits, procedures, patient lab and pathology monitoring, communication, care coordination, and other assigned activities within the scope of the role. The focus will be on patients with gynaecological disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

• Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science Physician Assistant degree (BScPA) from an accredited institution
• Current registration with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Preferred:

• Graduate of the Consortium of PA Education's Physician Assistant Professional Degree Program
• Graduate of the McMaster Physician Assistant Education Program

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
