Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority seeks a Physician Assistant for Kindersley Health Centre. This full-time regular position is based in Kindersley and focuses on primary care within a multi-disciplinary team. 14 eight-hour shifts over 3 weeks, days only, with a 1.0 FTE and no relief or float requirements.

Candidates must have PA licensure in good standing or eligibility, and a PACCC-accredited PA degree. Remaining qualifications include ACLS/PALS assets and valid driver’s license; travel within

  • Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC.
  • Membership and Licensure in good standing with CPSS as a PA; or eligible for registration with CPSS.
  • Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.

Experience

  • Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an asset

Education

  • Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC

Licenses

  • Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or
  • Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).
  • Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.
  • (May be asked to provide proof of meeting maintenance of certification)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or
