Duration/Term Length: 1 Academic Semester
Work Hours:Hours may fluctuate – On Average 8 – 10 Hours Monthly
Shift availability may vary.
Location: Hybrid – All Centennial Campuses & Learning Sites; Some Remote Work
Job Purpose: CCSAI is looking for a current student to work with our Marketing and Communications team to capture and curate content for all CCSAI Channels. The Engagement Staff: Photographer - Content Creator works with a team of professional staff to support Centennial students and the goals of the organization.
We are looking for students with a special interest in stock photography, live event coverage, in-studio photography and more based on the organization's needs. Applicants with additional skills in otherareas of content creation such as videography, video editing, and graphic design are welcome to notethese skills as special assets they can bring to the Content Creator team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Shoot and edit high quality photo content during CCSAI or College programming, and generalcampus programming.
• Update and maintain organized shared digital assets on a regular basis.
• Operate and care for photo and lighting equipment and ensure that all equipment is lookedafter and stored away correctly under the direction of the Marketing & Communications fulltime staff.
• Work closely with Marketing & Communications team to brainstorm creative ideas and differentmethods to update organization brand photos and promote events, services & other initiativesof the CCSAI.
• Adhere to deadlines and submit all necessary content in a timely manner
• Assist the Communication & Events team in developing and executing promotional campaignsand engagements on all CCSAI digital and in-person channels.
• Attends meetings and/or trainings that are scheduled throughout the term.
• Support the Student Engagement & Supports department with other required duties asassigned.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience as a professional photographer is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of photography software, photography art and lighting.
• Demonstrated understanding and familiarity with utilizing and managing lighting equipment.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Access to photography equipment and lighting is an asset.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to be professional and respectful at all times.
Knowledge of the following platforms is an asset:

Eligibility
1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student for the Summer or Fall semester in 2025.
2. Demonstrate a good academic standing.
3. Must have a Canadian Social Insurance Number (minimum 6 months to expiry).
