Job summary

Southlake Health Foundation in Newmarket, Ontario, is seeking a Philanthropy Associate to support major gifts and campaigns. You will prepare for donor meetings, coordinate materials, and maintain donor portfolios within Raiser's Edge.

Working with the CEO and Chief Development Officer, you’ll draft proposals, manage data integrity, generate reports, and help plan donor events, while upholding confidentiality and a donor-centric approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of fundraising; major gifts experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM preferred.
  • Experience supporting executives or senior leaders is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Donor Portfolio Support for Senior Fundraisers: schedule meetings, briefs, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate donor meetings, materials, proposals and presentations.
  • Draft donor correspondence, letters, emails, proposals and acknowledgements.
  • Enter and maintain donor data in Raiser's Edge; ensure data integrity.
  • Generate donor lists, reports, and support fundraising planning and reporting.
