Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists with inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining records
2. Create courier labels efficiently and accurately
3. Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
4. Prepares outgoing deliveries using validated packaging to ensure the quality of the medication is maintained throughout the logistics process
5. Verifies and unloads incoming shipments at a warehouse
6. Performs quality inspection when receiving goods, records shortages, and rejects damaged items
7. Stores or stocks the items in their appropriate places.
8. Maintain freezer packs in sufficient quantity and quality to ensure temperature-controlled shipping
9. Operate lift truck or pump truck from shipping and receiving platform to storage area
10. Responsible for managing the returns process
11. Sort, count, identify, verify, and track all materials to maintain accurate inventory records
12. Participates in quality assurance activities as directed
13. Performs general housekeeping duties in the warehouse
14. Works with Pharmacy Operations Manager regarding any performance management issues or concerns
15. Assembles, labels, and provides supplies as required under specific contracts
16. Performs other duties as assigned

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Warehouse Technician reports directly to the Pharmacy Manager. The Warehouse Technician also liaises with the BSRx employees as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Language Skills

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to organization employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to organize workload for efficient use of time. Ability to function independently.
