Job summary

William Osler Health System in Brampton seeks a licensed Pharmacy Technician to dispense and distribute medications, manage inventory, and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, with travel between Osler sites as needed. Requires current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, hospital experience preferred, strong communication skills, reliability and independent work.

Hours include days, evenings, nights and weekends; hourly rate CAD 33.00–40.65 for a nine‑month duration.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred.
• Experience with CIVA and/or chemotherapy preparation considered an asset.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record.
• Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred.
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites.

Additional Information

DURATION: Approximately nine (9) months or until the previous incumbent returns.

Hours: Currently days/evenings/nights, including weekend and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements).

Salary:

Minimum: $33.00 per hour

Maximum: $40.65 per hour
