Step into a pivotal role where you support pharmacists in providing top-notch dispensary and pharmacy services and help achieve Company initiatives. As a Pharmacy Technician at Metro, you will receive direction from the pharmacist on duty and the Pharmacy Manager, working towards the achievement of goals and objectives while adhering to both Company operating standards and Ontario College of Pharmacists' standards of practice.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. As a Pharmacy Technician you will receive guidance from the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and the Pharmacist on duty. You will engage with internal teams such as Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Merchandising, Inventory Control and Audit, Store Services, McMahon, and Metro IT. Additionally, you will interact with external contacts, including direct pharmacy vendors like McMahon and Kroll Canada.
The responsibilities and relationships assigned to this role may change as is necessary to achieve Metro's business objectives.
