Job summary

William Osler Health System in Ontario is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for a temporary nine-month assignment in the hospital setting. You will dispense and distribute medications, manage ward stock, and participate in sterile and non-sterile compounding as required.

The role requires current licensure with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, hospital experience preferred, and the ability to travel between Osler sites. Evening/night shifts and weekends are included in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Currently licensed pharmacy technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Hospital experience preferred

• Computer experience preferred
• Ability to work independently

• Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Additional Information

DURATION: Approximately nine (9) months or until the previous incumbent returns.

Hours: Currently evenings/nights, 8/12 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Minimum: $33.00 per hour

Maximum: $40.65 per hour
