Interior Health in Kamloops, BC is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Royal Inland Hospital Pharmacy Team. The role focuses on prescription preparation and processing, guided by the College of Pharmacists of BC and IH protocols.

As a Relief Full Time position with rotating day and evening shifts, you will support a dynamic, fast-paced environment, delivering accurate medications while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent.
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process prescriptions in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Operate within College of Pharmacists of BC guidelines and IH protocols.
• Relief full-time role on rotating day and evening shifts.

As a registered Pharmacy Technician, your role extends beyond traditional boundaries. You'll spearhead a range of technical functions in prescription preparation and processing, guided by the high standards set by the College of Pharmacists of B.C. and aligned with our organizational protocols.

This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) opportunity working rotating day and evening shift until the return of the incumbent.
