Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support our national pharmacy team with patient-centered care across Canadian banners. You will help with prescriptions, refills, pill packs, and inventory, contributing to efficient pharmacy operations and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, returns to stock, etc.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
