Job summary

London Drugs Limited in New Westminster, BC, is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant (Part-Time) to join our team. You will support pharmacists, handle front counter duties, assist with prescriptions, and help maintain a clean, efficient pharmacy environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-service mindset, basic computer skills, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a collaborative team. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, & management.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
• Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
• Provide customer service at the front counter; cashier duties and telephone inquiries.
• Assist in processing and preparation of prescriptions.
• Operate the pharmacy computer and manage inventory, ordering and receiving drug orders.
• Support inventory management and housekeeping duties in the Pharmacy area.
• Participate in a fast-paced retail environment and contribute to teamwork.
