Job summary

London Drugs Limited is seeking a part‑time Pharmacy Assistant to join our Duncan, BC pharmacy team. You will support Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager with daily operations, assist customers at the front counter, handle cashier duties, and help maintain the pharmacy inventory.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service, good communication, and basic computer skills. Previous pharmacy experience is preferable; we offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, & management.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
• Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
• Customer service, servicing the front counter, cashier duties, telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties.
• Operate the pharmacy computer and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions.
• Order and receive drug orders and manage the pharmacy inventory.
• Support a professional, efficient, and patient‑centered pharmacy environment.
