Job summary

London Drugs Limited in Victoria, BC is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists and the pharmacy team, handle front-counter duties, and assist with prescriptions and inventory management.

You will contribute to a community-focused pharmacy environment with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits. Starting pay will vary based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Duties include customer service, front counter, cashier duties, telephone inquiries and general housekeeping.
• Operate the pharmacy computer and assist in processing prescriptions.
• Order and receive drug orders, manage the pharmacy inventory.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Pharmacy Assistant - Part Time

You will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Duties will include customer service, servicing the front counter, cashier duties, telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties. Additionally, you will operate the pharmacy computer and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions. Other responsibilities will include involvement of ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy inventory. The successful candidate will have the following:

• Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, & management.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferable.
