Job summary

Walmart Canada in Port Elgin, ON is seeking an Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate to assist customers and maintain a well-organized OTC department within the Pharmacy area. You will help with inventory, pricing, and shelf presentation while delivering friendly, efficient service in alignment with company policies, including confidentiality and safety.

This is an entry-level position with hours that may vary. Position starts at CAD 17.75 per hour and offers opportunities to learn product knowledge

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
