Job summary

Walmart Canada, Merritt, BC, is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate to assist customers and keep the OTC department organized. You will follow privacy rules, support the Pharmacy Manager, rotate stock, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling while delivering excellent service.

Starting pay is CAD 18.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow. The role requires being 16 or older and a willingness to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment in Merritt, BC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximize department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
