Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to lead the Pharmacy as Designated Manager in Nova Scotia. You will oversee dispensing operations, inventory control, and regulatory compliance while supporting pharmacists and staff in delivering patient-centered care.

You will mentor team members, optimize workflows, ensure safety, and drive improvements across services such as immunizations, compliance packaging, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Active registration as an RPhT with the NSCP is required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a retail pharmacy setting.
• 3–5 years of experience as an RPhT with operational management.
• Strong knowledge of NSCP regulations and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Designated Manager for the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with NSCP regulations.
• Lead pharmacy team, coach staff, and manage scheduling and onboarding.
• Oversee daily operations: prescription processing, inventory, and services.
• Drive continuous process improvements and maintain patient safety standards.
• Engage with community outreach and deliver high-quality patient care.
