Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy professional to receive, prepare and deliver medications accurately and timely. You will ensure adequate inventory levels and counsel patients with proper documentation.

The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and involves customer-focused service, cost control, and ongoing education for team members within a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Pharmacist license (Class A).
• Superior customer relations and professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
• Ensure medication and OTC supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.).
• Provide timely and positive resolutions to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues.
• Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
• Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s).
