Job description

Are you an experienced pharmacist ready to take the next step in your career — and potentially have a stake in the future of a pharmacy?

We are looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join an established community pharmacy located in Southwestern Ontario, south of Kincardine.

This is more than a traditional management position. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to participate in the business through an equity arrangement, providing the potential to build long-term value and have a meaningful role in the pharmacy's future.

What We Offer
  • CAD $145,600-$166,400 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
  • CAD $70-$80/hour range
  • Equity opportunity for the right candidate
  • Stable community pharmacy environment
  • Opportunity to take a leadership role with meaningful autonomy
  • Pharmacy assistant support when available
  • Opportunity to build strong, lasting relationships with patients and the local community
Schedule

The pharmacy operates on a straightforward schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Your Responsibilities

As Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the pharmacy's day-to-day operations while ensuring excellent patient care and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily pharmacy operations
  • Dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely
  • Providing professional medication counselling and clinical advice
  • Overseeing pharmacy workflow and inventory
  • Supporting and coordinating pharmacy staff
  • Maintaining compliance with Ontario pharmacy regulations and professional standards
  • Building strong relationships with patients and the local community
  • Contributing to the growth and success of the pharmacy
What We're Looking For
  • Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario
  • Experience in community pharmacy
  • Previous pharmacy management or leadership experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario pharmacy standards and regulations
  • Injection certification, including the ability to administer influenza and COVID-19 vaccines
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of pharmacy operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient-focused approach
  • Experience with Fillware is an asset

This role is designed for a pharmacist who wants more than simply a salaried management position.

For the right individual, the equity opportunity can provide the possibility to participate directly in the pharmacy's long-term success and growth. Rather than a traditional signing bonus, the focus is on creating long-term value and ownership potential.

If you are an ambitious pharmacist looking for a leadership opportunity with competitive compensation, professional autonomy, and the possibility of equity in the business, we would be pleased to hear from you.
