Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to join our nationwide pharmacy team. You will help with prescription assembly, customer transactions, refills, compounding, and daily pharmacy operations while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment across banners like Sobeys, Safeway and FreshCo, focusing on accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service. Relevant diploma is preferred; prior pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly and data entry.
• Process customer transactions and dispense prescriptions.
• Receive refill requests and manage deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs and perform compounding and Pill Pack Assembly.
• Administrative duties: cycle and narcotics counts, stock replenishment, cleaning, and order processing.
