Job summary

Sobeys Inc. operates a national pharmacy team across Canada, including Safeway banners. We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team and support daily prescription processing, refills, and drug ordering.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and uphold company standards while delivering high-quality patient care and community health support.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individuals to join our team.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g., medication reviews, health risk assessments).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, returns to stock, and records.
