Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Ontario. The role focuses on prescription assembly, data entry, and delivering patient-centered service.

You will handle in-person and phone refill requests, promote Profile programs, and support compounding and medication-related tasks. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and independence in a fast-paced environment, with prior pharmacy experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly - data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, manual third parties
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
