Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist in delivering pharmacy services, and participate in the maintenance and operations of the Pharmacy following the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

You will greet customers, enter prescription data, assist the pharmacist with clinical inquiries as needed, and ensure accurate, timely service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information.
• Assist with administration: receive new and repeat prescriptions, adjudicate third‑party billing, answer calls and manage faxes.
• Support prescription workflow: data entry, counting/labeling, and maintaining pharmacy systems.
