Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to Standards.
• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist and manage wait times.
• Maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary and ensure privacy.
• Receive new and repeat prescriptions and prepare orders per SOPs.
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage related accounts.
• Data entry for new prescriptions and manage refill requests.
• Count, package, and label prescriptions per standards and document accurately.
