Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions from patients and verify completeness (name, address, DOB, allergies, 3rd party information, special requests, prescriber, generic/brand).
• Perform data entry, price checks, patient information updates, and interpretation of prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, perform accuracy checks and label preparation.
• Maintain inventory, check for expired medications, pull stale prescriptions, and assist with ordering and stocking.
• General housekeeping to keep the dispensary clean and organized and ensure a safe work environment.
• Clerical organization: filing prescriptions, invoices, reports, and other admin tasks.
• Assist with OTC operations and cashier duties as directed by OTC Manager or Pharmacist.
