Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join a locally owned store delivering health, beauty and convenience services in the community.

You will assist with dispensing prescriptions, support pharmacy operations, and help ensure customer experience remains at the center of everything we do. In this role you will greet customers, handle prescription data entry, assist with third‑party billing, and coordinate with the pharmacist on clinical inquiries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred
• Pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect prescription information per Standards
• Process prescription orders and assist with pharmacist referrals
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage data entry
• Maintain confidentiality and file documentation accurately
