Job summary

No Frills, part of Loblaw, is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacy team in delivering accurate patient care and efficient service.

You will greet patients, enter data accurately, support dispensing, handle third-party adjudication if needed, maintain stock, and assist with OTC questions while ensuring flexible availability that may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience or background is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Patient greeting and verification of prescription information.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third party adjudication if necessary.
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Stock maintenance via inventory systems.
• Handle OTC inquiries and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Process customer prescription pick up.
