Job summary

Loblaw's Real Canadian Superstore in Manitoba is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing, data entry and customer service within the pharmacy team. The role requires accuracy, strong communication and attention to detail.

You will greet patients, verify prescription information, assist with third party adjudication, maintain stock, and handle OTC inquiries with guidance from a Pharmacist, including flexible hours and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third Party adjudication (if necessary).
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist.
