Job summary

CareRx Corporation is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant, L1 to support LTC homes and retirement communities. You will assist with preparation, packaging, labeling, and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations per Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, inventory management, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure timely prescriptions and safe medication handling.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy inventory processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure precise record-keeping and prescription information from nursing staff.
• Prepare and label medication for compliance packs and maintain workflow for prescriptions.
• Process refills in Kroll and package medications (blister packs, vials, strips).
• Synchronize data with PacMed and generate daily/weekly production reports.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with inventory management; operate PacMed as needed.
