Job summary

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant, L1 to join our Pharmacy team in Windsor to support a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The role includes preparation, packaging, and organization of medication deliveries, while upholding Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

This position offers collaborative teamwork, stable schedule, and a focus on patient care in a non-retail environment. On-site work at our Windsor Pharmacy with a five-day week and on-call rotation for weekends.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy assistant certification preferred; training provided.
• Experience with KROLL and PacMed is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy inventory processes.
• Visual acuity, numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure precise record-keeping and prescription information via dispensary software.
• Prepare and label medications for compliance packs and process prescriptions within timelines.
• Packaging medications and managing inventory.
• Generate daily and weekly production reports.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with manual and automated packaging.
