Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma credited course is preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and gather prescription information per Standards
• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
• Counsel patients and manage wait times
• Handle cash register and financial transactions in the dispensary
• Process new and repeat prescriptions following SOPs
• Adjudicate third party billing where applicable
• Assist in prescription preparation and data entry
• Maintain accurate documentation within Pharmacy systems
