Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy professionals to join our team across Canada. Our national pharmacy network spans Sobeys, Safeway, Thrifty Foods, Foodland, Lawtons Drugs or FreshCo depending on the province.

You will contribute to patient-centered care by supporting prescription processing, handling refills, and assisting with clinical services. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry and processing.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Handle in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
• File prescriptions, order and replenish supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Schedule professional clinical services (medication reviews, disease state management).
• Adhere to company standards and assist with other pharmacy operations.
