Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is expanding its national pharmacy team across banners in Canada. We are seeking friendly, knowledgeable individuals to join our team and deliver patient-centered care while meeting health needs of our communities.

You will perform prescription assembly, data entry, process transactions, handle refills, compounding, pill pack assembly, and support clinical services under supervision. A Pharmacy Assistant Diploma is preferred; prior pharmacy experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
