Job summary

Sobeys Sydney River Sobeys Pharmacy is hiring for a full-time role focused on precise prescription processing and patient care. You will handle data entry, in-person and phone refill requests, and support various pharmacy operations. The team emphasizes accuracy, speed, and friendly service to improve community health.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Tech cert, are detail-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate or other Pharmacy Recognized program.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote PROfile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements).
• BTC management.
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties.
• Adhere to company standards and assist with other pharmacy operations.
