Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Professional to contribute to our Sydney, NS pharmacy team. You will handle prescriptions, process refills, and support drug ordering and inventory while delivering patient-centered care.

Applicants with a Pharmacy Tech cert or related degree, and prior pharmacy experience, are encouraged. The role offers stability and opportunities within Sobeys’ national pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or Pharmacy-related certification required.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state management).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.

What you have to offer:

• Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate or other Pharmacy Recognized program
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
