Job summary

FreshCo in Saskatoon seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to join the in-store pharmacy team. You will handle prescription data entry, process customer transactions, receive refill requests, and contribute to compounding and pill pack assembly.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and adherence to company standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior pharmacy experience is beneficial, and a diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy assistant diploma is preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly - data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
