Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist in pharmacy services, and help maintain daily operations in the store’s Pharmacy. You will deliver courteous customer service and support the pharmacist in clinical inquiries and patient care.

The role involves data entry, prescription processing, and adherence to Pharmacy Standards of Practice, with opportunities to contribute to efficient prescription workflows and patient safety.

Competenze

• High School Diploma is required or preferred.
• Pharmacy Assistant credential course is preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy Experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist customers, gather prescription information and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Process prescription orders and manage administration tasks per SOPs; handle third-party billing and faxes.
• Assist in prescription preparation, data entry and labeling per Pharmacy Standards of Practice.
