Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Langley, British Columbia, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our national pharmacy team. You will help process prescriptions, handle refills, and support safe, patient-centered care.

Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma; prior pharmacy experience is an asset. We value accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Experience in a pharmacy is an asset.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, returns to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
