Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Kelowna, BC seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist in pharmacy services, and help maintain daily operations in line with Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

You will greet customers, handle prescription intake, assist the pharmacist with counseling referrals, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering friendly, efficient service in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task.
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service and prescription collection, per Standards.
• Receive, process and file prescription orders in the dispensary.
• Adjudicate third-party billing and manage related tasks.
• Answer calls and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Enter data and maintain pharmacy systems accurately.
