Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (MS Office and FileMaker) required.
• Experience in long term or acute care hospital pharmacy preferred; community pharmacy experience may be considered.

The Opportunity

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Program Director, Pharmacy Services, this support position is responsible for performing routine duties associated with preparing client-specific medications, such as the efficient use of pharmacy equipment and processing orders. This position also supports the administration of pharmacy services, including maintaining inventory
control and other related duties as required.

The duties of this position are carried out in an environment focused on customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:

• - A Pharmacy Assistant certificate or diploma is preferred.
• - Basic Computer skills (MS Office and FileMaker) required.
• - Experience in a long term or acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred.
• - Experience in a community pharmacy may be considered.
