Job summary

Pharmasave #416 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists and technicians in delivering quality patient care. You will greet customers, handle prescription processing, and assist with inventory, transfers, and billing under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail pharmacy experience, strong data-entry skills, and good communication. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends; benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of Pharmacy Assistant experience in a retail pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of prescription data entry and accurate data handling (Kroll).

• Pharmacy Assistant certification/program completion is an asset.

Pharmasave #416 is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering exceptional patient care
• Greet customers, answer phone calls, and assist with prescription processing
• Enter, label, count, package, and prepare prescriptions under supervision
• Receive and manage inventory, stock shelves, and support inventory audits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
• Assist with clerical duties, insurance claims, and prescription transfers
• Support daily pharmacy operations as required

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of Pharmacy Assistant experience in a retail pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of Kroll with accurate prescription data entry skills
• Understanding of Pharmacare/insurance billing and clinical services flagging
• Pharmacy Assistant certification/program completion is an asset
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes when required
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Schedule

• Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week
• Flexible shifts, including opening, closing, evenings, and weekends
• Store hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
