Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy is a traditional pharmacy, providing personalized care to our patients. As an independently owned pharmacy, we are focused on providing health care in a welcoming environment. We are currently looking for a full-time assistant or registered technician to join our team. We are open 6 days a week, closed in the evenings, as well as Sundays and Holidays. You would work every third Saturday.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Assistant located in Moncton, NB. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, manage inventory, handle customer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. Additionally, the role involves maintaining records, processing prescriptions, and ensuring that pharmacy operations comply with regulations. The Pharmacy Assistant will also answer phone calls and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Prescription processing and Pharmacy operations
• Strong Customer Service and Phone Etiquette skills
• Proficiency in Inventory Management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy assistant program is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant pharmacy software is an asset
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
