Job summary

WillowGrove Pharmacy & Supplements in Kindersley, SK is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our community-focused team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist with prescription preparation, provide excellent customer service, and help with workflow management.

• Minimum one year of pharmacy or hospital experience preferred, with training provided.
• Formal Pharmacy Assistant training is considered an asset.
• Comfortable using computers, pharmacy software, and till systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Kroll pharmacy software and automation systems is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prescription preparation and assembly in accordance with procedures.
• Process prescription pick-up and release transactions accurately.
• Enter and maintain patient information using pharmacy software (Kroll experience is an asset).
• Receive and process in-person and telephone prescription refill requests.
• Assist with compliance packaging and pill pack assembly.
• Prepare and receive pharmacy drug orders and maintain inventory levels.
• File prescriptions and assist with ordering, stocking, and replenishing pharmacy supplies.
• Perform pharmacy maintenance duties and organize workspaces.
• Support administrative functions including cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Provide delivery and transportation services as required.

Position Overview

WillowGrove Pharmacy & Supplements is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionatePharmacy Assistantto join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with prescription preparation and workflow management.

Previous pharmacy or hospital experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing effectively to a team
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
• Successful completion of aCriminal Record Checkis required

Key Responsibilities

• Support administrative functions, includingcycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and return-to-stock processing
• Provide delivery and transportation services as required
• Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and organizational standards
• Assist with additional pharmacy operations as required
