Urgently Hiring: Pharmacy Assistant

Our established and successful pharmacy in Cornwall, ON, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant.

The Pharmacy Assistant will work alongside the Pharmacist to dispense prescription medications, answer general inquiries, and refer complex questions to the Pharmacist.

Responsibilities include:

1. Entering prescriptions into the prescription software (Kroll) and processing billing.
2. Operating a PacMed machine or other filling machines (experience is an asset).
3. Monitoring inventory levels and identifying approaching and critical expiry dates.
4. Applying knowledge of pharmacy calculations.
5. Maintaining proficient computer and data entry skills.
6. Demonstrating a positive attitude and flexibility in task management.
7. Maintaining a proven attendance record.
8. Remaining calm under pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills; spoken French is an asset.
10. Possessing a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
