CareRx Corporation in Victoria, BC is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our long-term care-focused team. Under the Pharmacy Manager, you'll ensure prescriptions are dispensed safely and provide pharmaceutical patient care, prioritizing therapeutic appropriateness for residents.

This on-site role emphasizes collaboration with the pharmacy team, compliant operations, and on-call weekend rotation, with a compensation range of CAD 60–65 per hour.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Strong partnership with health care team.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Knowledge of Kroll Windows application.
• Critical thinking and prioritization.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Willingness to support on-call weekend rotation.
• Long-term pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Injections and APA certification preferred.

Role Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely,timelyand completely.
• Complete daily tasksin accordance with established workplace policies and procedures.
• Consult with members of the pharmacy management team when there are unresolved issues surrounding day to day work functions.
• Provide exceptional customer care toCareRxpharmacy patients and home partners.
• Communicate with all members of the resident care team whilemaintainingprofessionalism by following corporate policies ensuring the highest standard of customer care and quality of pharmacy service.
• Manage medication procedure/profile reviews with associated documentation of recommendations.
• Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations whichgovern the practice of pharmacy at all times.
• Follow all corporate regulations, policies, and proceduresat all times.
• Assistsin maintainingand monitoring of pharmacy inventory.
• Participates in the training and support for newly hired and existing pharmacy team members whenrequired.

What You Will Bring to The Team:

• Currently licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Proven ability to foster strong partnership with other members of the health care team.
• Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Kroll Windows application preferred.
• Skilled in critical thought processes and ability to prioritize appropriately.
• Self-directed, requiring minimal supervision and the ability to work independently.

• PreviousLong Term pharmacy experience is anasset but notrequired.

Compensation Range: $60 - $65 per hour.Actualpay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location:This role will be on site at our 570 Bay Street, Victoria, BCPharmacy location

Work Shifts:Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 5:00pm. All pharmacist are required to participate in the on call weekend rotation.
