Salmo Valley Pharmacy in Salmo, BC is seeking a licensed Canadian pharmacist to join our locally owned, family‑oriented team. We value community health, flexible scheduling and a respectful, supportive work environment.

You will lead pharmacy technicians, collaborate with physicians, and provide clinical services such as minor ailments prescribing and injections while ensuring accurate prescriptions and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed or eligible to practice in Canada with good standing.
• Injection certification and OAT Training.
• Minor Ailments Prescribing qualification.
• Experience with Kroll is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Lead a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants.

• Prepare prescriptions with clinical accuracy and safety.

Salmo Valley Pharmacy is a locally owned pharmacy in the scenic West Kootenays. The outdoor enthusiast’s dream, Salmo is a village surrounded by mountains and rivers, centrally located 30 minutes from Nelson, Castlegar and Trail. Our local ski hill offers night skiing throughout the winter and well-maintained hiking/mountain bike trails to enjoy in spring, summer and fall. Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service
• Leading a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants
• Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare practitioners
• Preparing prescriptions and ensuring the clinical appropriateness and accuracy of all medications dispensed
• Providing clinical services such as prescribing for minor ailments, medication reviews and injections
• Assisting with ordering, inventory management and other duties relating to daily pharmacy operations

Requirements

Pharmacist currently licensed or eligible for licensing to practice in Canada, in good standing with your provincial College of Pharmacists, Injection certification, OAT Training, Minor Ailments Prescribing, Experience with Kroll an asset
