Job summary

Placements24 seeks a community-focused Retail Pharmacist to manage its Kimberley pharmacy. You will dispense medications accurately, provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare providers, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the branch.

As a leader you will mentor pharmacy technicians, maintain stock levels, uphold regulatory standards, and build strong relationships with physicians and customers to support optimal patient care in the local community.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm degree or equivalent qualification and registration with the SAPC.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Retail Pharmacist.
• Proficiency in dispensing software and pharmacy management systems.
• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic uses, and potential drug interactions.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership abilities and experience in managing a pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, verifying dosages and ensuring patient safety.
• Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and health management.
